Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 July 2026
1. Who we are
This website, umamiwp.com (the “Site”), and the Stats Umami WordPress plugin are provided by nquare, a web and IT consultancy based in Portugal. For any privacy question, contact us at info@umamiwp.com.
This policy explains how we handle information in connection with the Site. It is separate from how the Stats Umami plugin behaves on your own website — see section 5.
2. Analytics on this website
We measure traffic to this Site using our own self-hosted Umami — a privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics tool that runs on our own server. It sets no cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not build an advertising profile. We do not use Google Analytics, and we use no third-party advertising or tracking services.
Analytics help us understand which pages are useful and improve the Site. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Information we collect
- Usage data — aggregate, non-identifying page-view and event data via analytics as described above.
- Contact information — if you email us or submit a form, we receive the details you provide (such as your name and email) to respond.
- Order data — if you purchase a service, orders are handled through our client portal at clientes.nquare.pt, subject to its own terms.
4. Cookies
This Site sets no tracking or analytics cookies. Our self-hosted Umami is cookie-free, and we use no third-party advertising or analytics cookies — which is why you will not see a cookie-consent banner here.
5. The Stats Umami plugin and your visitors’ data
Stats Umami runs entirely on your WordPress site and is purely client-side. Your visitors’ browsers send analytics directly to the Umami server you control. No analytics data from your site is sent to nquare or umamiwp.com.
As the operator of your own site, you are the data controller for your visitors’ analytics and remain responsible for your own privacy notice and lawful basis for processing.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR and applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you, and object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact info@umamiwp.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in Portugal, the CNPD).
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
