Terms of Use
Last updated: 10 July 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By using umamiwp.com (the “Site”), downloading the Stats Umami plugin, or purchasing a service from nquare, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the plugin.
2. The plugin
Stats Umami is free and open-source software, released under the GPL. It is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Stats Umami connects your WordPress site to a self-hosted Umami instance that you run and control; it does not include, bundle, or host Umami.
You are responsible for your own Umami server, your WordPress site, and your compliance with applicable law when tracking your visitors.
3. Paid services
nquare offers optional professional paid services, including Umami Installation, Website Advanced Configuration, Umami Hosting, and custom services. Services are ordered and paid through our client portal at clientes.nquare.pt and are subject to any additional terms presented there. Prices may change; the price shown at the time of your order applies.
Purchasing a service is entirely optional and is not required to use the free plugin.
4. Trademarks and the Umami project
Stats Umami is built on the open-source Umami project and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Umami. “Umami”, “WordPress”, “WooCommerce”, and other product names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site, the plugin, and the services are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site or plugin will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, nquare shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, the plugin, or the services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The competent Portuguese courts have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply to you.
8. Changes
We may revise these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest revision; continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
